A wrench into the works?  What should you do at the first sign of a contract dispute?

bullet

Do not write any correspondence to the other party before consulting with your attorney. You may unwittingly be undermining your position or giving away valuable settlement leverage.

Consult with your attorney to determine how you might resolve the contract dispute before it becomes a lawsuit.

Does your business agreement cover all of the essential elements of a contract? Do you know how the courts interpret contract clauses, terms, and conditions? Does your contract afford you the best possible protection in the event of a dispute?

Even a long-term amicable business relationship can turn sour and become a legal dispute. Is your contract the shield that protects you, or the weapon that threatens you? A clearly and concisely written contract is your best defense against having a lawsuit filed against you.

Don’t be vulnerable to an opposing party's unreasonable demands. Find out whether your contract affords you all the protection you should have. I can review your contract and advise you of the legal interpretations of its terms and conditions.

Don't wait until it is too late, what you don't know can hurt you!
